Everything I Wish I Knew Before Hiking Rim to Rim at the Grand Canyon
I’m a sucker for an epic, hard-to-plan backpacking route. I glean a sort of twisted thrill from completing a trip most people would find daunting or overcomplicated. Many backpackers can likely relate.
That’s why hiking rim-to-rim across the Grand Canyon appealed to me. Not only was it a physically demanding route, but a point-to-point hike can also be tricky logistically. It sounded like exactly the kind of hike I tend to seek out.
